Adult Training TeamAdult Training Team

Looking to boost your climbing to the next level? Our Adult Training Team is a space to build muscles, skills, stoke, and community! Taught by coach/trainer Taylor Fragomeni who with nationally ranked athletes, will share her knowledge and training (). This class will meet twice a week for group instruction and workouts. Participants will be given additional optional workouts every week and loads of educational resources. Workouts are scalable and climbers of all abilities are encouraged to join.

This Adult Training Team cohort will be focus on the theme of learning to build their own unique training plan!

Week 1: Assessments & Goal Setting
  • We'll cover common assessment tests that can be used to identify top weaknesses and building training structures that support specific climbing goals. We will also go over how to set effective goals.
 
Week 2: Structuring Sessions, Training Cycles, & Navigating Training Sustainably
  • We'll cover warmups, cooldowns, movement, on the wall drills, and how to engage with training sustainably and avoid burnout/injury. We'll also likely go over a lot of movement stuff this week.
 
Week 3: Energy Systems & Supplemental Training
  • We'll cover energy systems as they relate to climbing, and how and when to incorporate supplementary off-wall training. Weightlifting basics for both structure and form will also be included.
 
Week 4: Wrap-up & Athlete Q's
  • This week will largely be TBD -- driven by what the group would like more of or potentially looping back to principles in earlier weeks.
Women's ClinicWomen's Clinic

Designed for beginner to intermediate climbers, our Women's Clinic is a 6-week class that introduces women to rock climbing in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether this is your first time climbing or you are hoping to boost your skills, it will help you reach your goals and meet other ladies at the gym. The clinic is taught by experienced ladies on our Instructor team, & promises to give you greater community & climbing knowledge! Advance registration & payment required at time of booking.

Intermediate Women's ClinicIntermediate Women's Clinic

Designed for intermediate to advanced climbers, or graduates of Women's Clinic, our Intermediate Women's Clinic is a 6-week class that builds confidence, skill and community for women in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you are looking to lead your first climb, or you are hoping to boost your skills, this course will help you reach your goals and meet other ladies at the gym. The clinic is taught by experienced ladies on our instructor team, & promises to give you greater community & climbing knowledge! Advance registration & payment required at time of booking.

Advanced Women's Lead ClinicAdvanced Women's Lead Clinic

Designed for ladies, taught by ladies, this course is your gateway to pushing past climbing plateaus. Two of our community's most experienced members will cover a variety of themes; including methods for efficient lead climbing, advanced belay techniques, managing fear while on lead, and approaches to projecting roped climbs. As this is an advanced course, participants should be able to comfortably lead routes at the 5.10 grade to benefit from everything it has to offer. Whether your barriers are physical or mental, you'll acquire a powerful new tool kit to break them down and continue to grow as climbers.

Climbing 101: FundamentalsClimbing 101: Fundamentals

Are you new to the world of climbing & looking for friends to climb with?  No climbing experience is necessary, but this course is not restricted to first-time climbers either; you may simply want to round out your skills and technique. We will discuss and practice how to move efficiently while climbing, cover the basics of climbing terminology and equipment care & use, and introduce you to three different climbing disciplines: Bouldering, Top Roping and using AutoBelays. We'll even help you develop a customized plan for how to reach your climbing goals. Expand your community & find flow on the wall!

Climbing 201: Gym to CragClimbing 201: Gym to Crag

Are you excited to start climbing outside? Designed for graduates of Climbing 101 or beginner to intermediate climbers with prior experience top rope climbing indoors, this course will function to apply skills learned inside to an outdoor context. This class covers a variety of topics, including an introduction to lead climbing and belaying, anchor building, and cleaning simple sport climbing anchors on fixed hardware. The class will also continue to expand climbers’ movement repertoire to include techniques for varied terrain & wall pitch as well as address best practices on outdoor climbing ethics.

NEW! In partnership with Montana Mountaineering Association, this class now features an outdoor element, and participants will have the opportunity to climb outside either the 3rd or 4th weekend of the class (weather dependent).

*The outdoor outing is operated by MMA and requires a minimum of four participants to run
*A refund of $155 will be issued if the outdoor outing is unable to run due to inclement weather.
